Farmland Wall Hanging
This one of a kind wall hanging is built with 100% pure linen and pure cotton. It has a cotton batting. The back of the hanging is also pieced.
It is entirely hand quilted with French embroidery thread. The border is hand stitched using a double binding technique. The hanging measures 26 inches x 26 inches
A sleeve is hand sewn on the back to make hanging easy; any sort of rod can be used, even an old stick would give it that extra Earthy look.
The design is inspired by the Roman Stripe quilt pattern seen in early 20th Century Amish quilts. The abstract lines and color blocks are inspired by the farmlands of Southern Australia.
