Rocky Mountain Quilt

This whole cloth quilt is made from 100% pure linen with a cotton batting. 100% hand quilted using French cotton embroidery thread. The border is hand stitched using a double binding technique. This quilt measures 60 inches x 52 inches.

The rhythmic design across the quilt represents the dramatic mountain peaks of the great North American Rocky Mountains. From the rolling green mountains of Colorado up to the sky high glacial peaks in Alberta, these formations are endlessly inspiring in their constant change and transformation throughout the seasons.

The front of this quilt is a natural linen color, representing the lightness of day; the back is black linen, with the marks of the hand stitches pressed through the fabric like stars in the night sky.
