Swan Valley Quilt
This handcrafted quilt is constructed from 100% pure cotton with a cotton batting. It is pieced with a combination of solid Kona cottons made in the USA and shot cottons made in India. Shot cotton is woven with two slightly different colors, creating a rich depth in color that is not apparent with other solid cottons. Both the front and the back of this quilt is pieced.
Entirely hand quilted using a deep red cotton Japanese sashiko thread.
The border is hand stitched using a double binding technique so the edges of your quilt are well protected.
Quilt measures 42 inches x 31 inches.
A wide sleeve has been hand sewn on the back to allow for comfortable hanging on a rod for display on a wall.
The back of the quilt is signed by Ebony Porter
This quilt is inspired by the beautiful farmland area of Swan Valley, Idaho, close to the mighty Snake River. It looks incredible hanging on a wall! An object that is both beautiful and functional, it is made durable and meant to be loved for many years to come.
