The Sunrise Quilt

This quilt is made from 100% pure cotton. I used a combination of shot cottons and a vintage table cloth that belonged to my husbands grandparents which I hand dyed with indigo, creating the sky blue shade.  
It has a pure cotton batting for durability and warmth. 
Entirely hand quilted using deep blue cotton Japanese sashiko thread.

The border is hand stitched using a double binding technique, ensuring the edges of your quilt are well protected. The quilt is backed with a Leah Duncan quilt cotton, Native Fringe. 
This quilt measures 41 inches x 33 inches. Perfect to use as a crib quilt, but designed aesthetically to reach beyond the baby years. 

The geometric forms of the patchwork gradually radiates outwards with color, like the sunrise over the ocean.  like sunshine.
